Express Computer and Express Healthcare in association with SAP are hosting a closed-door executive roundtable focused on advancing the digital transformation of India's healthcare IT ecosystem on June 4, 2025 at Sofitel BKC, Mumbai.

With the overarching theme, “Transforming Healthcare through Digitisation, Cloud & Data Intelligence,” the roundtable will explore how next-generation IT infrastructure - powered by cloud, real-time analytics, and intelligent automation is enabling hospitals to become more agile, patient-centric, and future-ready.
The timing for this conversation couldn’t be more critical. According to the HIMSS Digital Health Indicator (2024), only 45 per cent of global healthcare providers currently have fully integrated IT infrastructures. In India, the challenge is even more pronounced. A 2024 NASSCOM report reveals that 80 per cent of Indian healthcare organisations struggle with data silos and disconnected systems, leading to inefficiencies and slower patient care. Meanwhile, patient expectations are evolving rapidly, and the shift toward preventive, personalised care is demanding smarter, data-driven approaches.
Cloud technology and intelligent data platforms are fast becoming the backbone of this transformation. As per the EY-NASSCOM report on India’s Cloud and Data Revolution, 80 per cent of Indian enterprises now rely on cloud to enable advanced data analytics underscoring a trend that healthcare must embrace urgently.
This roundtable will address how healthcare leaders can modernise operations and IT infrastructure to unlock value across four key pillars:
Better patient outcomes – through real-time access to Electronic Health Records (EHRs), personalised treatments, and enhanced engagement using digital platforms and mobile apps.
Operational efficiency – by integrating hospital functions such as finance, HR, and supply chain, and leveraging automation to streamline procurement, inventory, and clinical workflows.
Financial management – using data and analytics to enable accurate forecasting, reduce billing errors, and optimise resource allocation, driving long-term cost savings and sustainability.
